Steele Canyon extended their winning streak  to four  on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 10-13 in the process. They blew past the Mount Miguel Matadors 15-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  23-0  on Friday.

 Tommy Rimoldi made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   three  hits. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  runs. He has become a key player for Steele Canyon: the team is 6-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 4-12 otherwise.
 In other pitching news,  Joey Riporti looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in eight consecutive appearances.
 Back at the plate, Steele Canyon got a big performance out of  Gavin Caha, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. The Cougars are undefeated when  Caha posts two or  more  runs, but 6-13 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colton Pigeon, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Steele Canyon  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in six consecutive  contests.
As for Mount Miguel, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record  this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.
 On Mount Miguel's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Angel Delgado, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
