TANNER STOTTS made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Moorpark let BLAKE GUY and DIEGO MAGANA run wild. GUY went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double, while MAGANA went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those three RBI gave MAGANA a new career-high. AJ MAI was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
