Hampshire won the last time they faced Belvidere and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Whip-Purs came out on top against the Buccaneers by a score of 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Whip-Purs.

Cole Harkin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 14 games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Rubino, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Hampshire's record now sits at 18-13-1. As for Belvidere, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 7-25 record this season.

Hampshire will face off against Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Whip-Purs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Belvidere, they will take on Belvidere North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Buccaneers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Thunder have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
