High school girls basketball: Every team that has appeared in the final MaxPreps Top 25 since 2009

Duncanville, Mater Dei lead list of 207 schools that have earned a spot in the final rankings over the past 16 years.

MaxPreps crowned its first high school girls basketball national champion in 2009 after Ben Davis (Indianapolis) capped a 30-0 season with a 71-69 win over four-time consecutive state finalist South Bend Washington in Indiana's Class 4A championship game before almost 14,000 fans at Lucas Oil Stadium. Since that time, over 200 schools in 41 states have etched their place in history by earning a spot in the final MaxPreps Top 25 rankings. See the complete list below.

Duncanville (Texas) leads the way when it comes to MaxPreps Top 25 finishes with nine in 16 years. The Pantherettes were crowned national champions in 2016.

Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), the 2011 national champions, and Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, Mo.) have seven finishes in the MaxPreps Top 25. 

California leads the way with the most different schools represented on the list with 20. Texas is not far behind with 19 while Florida (11), Ohio (11) and Maryland (10) are the only other states with double digits.
