After a string of three wins, the West Valley Eagles's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They fell  68-55 to Foothill. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Valley in their matchups with Foothill: they've now lost three in a row.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Emily Nolan, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 13  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Nolan  scored 15 or more  points.  Kayla Wiley was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 12 points and 11  rebounds.
 West Valley's defeat  ended a three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-5. As for Foothill, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
 West Valley will head out on the road to  challenge  University Prep at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Foothill, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Chico at 7:30  p.m.
