The 2023 high school football season in New York kicks off later this
month and MaxPreps has your look at the state's top teams. After finishing with a record of 9-3 last season,
Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains) own the No. 1 spot in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 25.
Archbishop Stepinac advanced to the Class AAA state semifinals last season before falling to
Iona Prep (New Rochelle) 41-28. The Crusaders are in search of their fifth state championship this season and first since 2018.

Will Currid, who completed 230 of 349 passes for 3,294 yards and 28 touchdowns last season. They also return both of their top running backs as
Lorenzo Robinson carried 97 times for 559 yards and
Jordan Osbourne carried 72 times for 651 yards with eight touchdowns apiece.
