Softball Recap: Sterling's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sterling came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Limon Badgers 14-2. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Sterling now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Limon, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sterling will take on Brush at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beetdiggers have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for Limon, they will challenge Rocky Ford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
