Kaj Sanders, the Ironmen scored the final 24 points. Senior quarterback
Nick Minicucci threw for two scores and the defense shut down Bergen's offense. Don Bosco Prep improved to 3-2 and snapped the Crusaders 17-game win streak.
The only MaxPreps Top 25 matchup of the week featured No. 25 Dutch Fork (Irmo, S.C.) hosting No. 3 St. Frances Academy (Baltimore) on Friday and the Panthers cruised to a 26-7 win. The Baltimore power improved to 4-0 and reeled off its 12th consecutive victory. The Panthers travel to Hawaii next week to face Kahuku on Sept. 30.
No. 9 Chandler (Ariz.) overcame a 14-0 first half deficit to beat Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) 31-21 in a rematch of the 2021 Open Division state championship. The Wolves improved to 4-0 and five-star Ohio State commit

No. 11 Westlake (Austin, Texas) won its 44th consecutive game with a 35-20 win over rival Lake Travis (Austin, Texas). The Chaparrals trailed 10-7 at halftime but outscored the Cavaliers 28-10 in the final 24 minutes.
No. 12 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) overcame a 19-6 first half deficit against Central (Phenix City, Ala.) and beat the Red Devils 41-26 to win its third straight game after a season-opening loss against No. 4 Central (Miami).
No. 1 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) won its last non-league game
of the season before Trinity League action gets underway on Sept. 30 at
Servite (Anaheim). They beat Central Catholic (Modesto) 65-0 to improve
to 5-0. The Braves have outscored their first five opponents 242-28. No.
2 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) was idle this week and face JSerra
Catholic (San Juan Capistrano) before an Oct. 7 showdown against St.
John Bosco at Santa Ana Stadium.
No. 18 Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) lost 24-14 against Lowndes (Valdosta, Ga.). This makes room for three teams to join next week's national rankings after the Rams, No. 13 Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) and No. 25 Dutch Fork (Irmo, S.C.) lost.
The last MaxPreps Top 25 team to play was No. 4 Central (Miami) on Saturday and they improved to 4-0 with a one-sided 43-7 win over Dillard (Fort Lauderdale) at Traz Powell Stadium.
