Baseball Recap: Parkview Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Parkview won the last time they faced Meadowcreek and things went their way on Friday too. Parkview put the hurt on Meadowcreek with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Malachi Washington, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Reese Wagnon also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Parkview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. Meadowcreek is on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

The timing is sure in Parkview's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Berkmar has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Meadowcreek is set to square off against their familiar foe Brookwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
