It's playoff time, and Kell had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Central Lions on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Kell, bringing their record up to 28-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Central, the defeat snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 26-9 record.

Kell has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Eastside on the 31st. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-5 loss against Wayne County on the 31st.
