Super Bowl LVIII takes place in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium as the Kansas City Chiefs square off against the San Francisco 49ers on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET. In terms of tracking where this year's participants played high school football, Florida has bragging rights with California, Georgia, Michigan and Texas right behind.
The Sunshine State has the most players represented with 10 that includes the likes of Nick Bosa, Deon Bush and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
California, Georgia, Michigan and Texas have the second-most representatives with nine each. Arik Armstead, Trent McDuffie and Fred Warner headline the players from the Golden State. Harrison Butker, Mecole Hardman and Jerick McKinnon, who was recently designated to return off injured reserve, are among the nine from the Peach State.
Jake Moody and Ambry Thomas are some of the notable names from Michigan while Patrick Mahomes, Rashee Rice and Trent Williams headline the list from the Lone Star State.
In total, 30 different states have at least one player represented while 23 had multiple players featured.
San Francisco's starting quarterback Brock Purdy is one of three from Arizona, with all being on the NFC representative. Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and Isaiah Oliver join Purdy from the Grand Canyon State.
Kansas City's All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce headlines five players from Ohio. The Buckeye State tied with Alabama and Mississippi with the sixth-most representatives.
Punter Mitch Wishnowsky of the 49ers is the lone participant who played outside the United State. He attended Lumen Christi College in Australia.
