There's no place like home for St. Bede, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Midland Timberwolves on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-2 win. Considering the Bruins have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Bede pushed their record up to 21-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Midland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Bede will square off against Mendota at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Midland, they will take on Princeville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
