Laikyn Lanzen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Lanzen was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Valeria Rojo was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
