After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Los Alamos, Moriarty was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Moriarty also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Samuel Pearce and Jonah Buck scored all three of Moriarty's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Moriarty's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Pojoaque Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.

Moriarty didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against Taos on the 14th. As for Pojoaque Valley, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Los Alamos on the 14th.
