Fort Lupton's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Englewood Pirates 17-5. The Bluedevils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Fort Lupton's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Englewood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Fort Lupton will challenge Weld Central at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Englewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arvada at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
