The team relied heavily on Alex Nielsen, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.
Meanwhile, Round Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of Northridge.
