The Robinson Maroons will challenge the St. Anthony Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Robinson earned a 6-1 victory over Flora.
Gunner Hoalt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has become a key player for Robinson: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 8-12 otherwise.

Robinson hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 4-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, while St. Anthony put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Dieterich. The Bulldogs blew past the Movin Maroons 8-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Movin Maroons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Aiden Lauritzen was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Lauritzen was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Blake Verdeyen was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Curtis Tingley was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
St. Anthony's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Robinson, their win bumped their record up to 12-14.
Robinson might still be hurting after the 14-2 defeat they got from St. Anthony in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Maroons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
