The Stone Ridge Christian Knights lost against the Ripon Christian Knights back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Stone Ridge Christian took a hard 41-24 fall against Ripon Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Stone Ridge Christian has scored all season.
Stone Ridge Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cali Cole, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Bella Ewing, who scored nine points.
Reagan Van der hoek continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ripon Christian, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Van der hoek has scored all season. Allison Copland was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Stone Ridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Ripon Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stone Ridge Christian's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Turlock Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 9th. Turlock Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Ripon Christian, they will be playing at home against Escalon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Escalon is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
