Buchanan of the Central Section held on to its top ranking, and East Bay Athletic League rivals De La Salle and California are Nos. 2 and 3 again.
One thing of note is that McClatchy is idle due to a Sacramento City Unified School District teacher/staff strike,
meaning no teams can practice or play. This is a bummer for McClatchy,
which fields one of its very best teams since the school opened in 1937.
