The high school baseball season is over but the memories continue. There were some amazing performances throughout the season and the first Northern California Regional Championships led to some exciting finishes.
Here is the All-Northern California baseball team.
Player of the YearAnthony Martinez, C, De La Salle (Concord), Sr.The Bay Area News Group Player of the Year batted .411 with a school-record 10 home runs in driving in 44 with just two strikeouts. He was the driving force behind De La Salle winning its fifth consecutive North Coast Section championship and the first CIF Northern California Division I banner. He is headed to UC Irvine.
Coach of the Year
Jackson Watt, Whitney (Rocklin)After some lean seasons, including single-digit victory totals, Watt dialed up a champion this spring. With one senior starter, Whitney won 19 of its final 22 games and won the program's first Sac-Joaquin Section championship, doing so in Division I after winning the stacked Sierra Foothill League.

First teamC — Malcolm Moore, McClatchy (Sacramento), Sr.A four-year varsity starter and The Sacramento Bee's two-time Player of the Year, Moore was among the national leaders with 13 home runs, a school record, for the Metro League champions who reached the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I finals for the first time in 24 years. The Stanford commit batted .400 with 51 RBI and 49 runs.
INF — Jack Basseer, Foothill (Pleasanton), Sr.The Pepperdine commit hammered eight home runs and drove in 35 for the East Bay League champion Falcons.
INF — Jacob Hudson, Valley Christian (San Jose), Jr.The MVP of the West Catholic Athletic League batted .343 and drove in 24 runs and was solid on the mound in 14 appearances.
INF — Elias Duncan, Saint Francis (Mountain View), Jr.In driving in 41 and batting .367, the shortstop led the Lancers to the Central Coast Section Division I championship and to the finals of the CIF NorCal D-I tournament.
INF — Lucas Kelly, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco), Sr.Headed to Texas A&M, Kelly hit .449 with 14 doubles and seven home runs and 28 RBI.
OF — Henry Bolte, Palo Alto, Sr.Headed to Texas, Bolte hit .441 with 42 RBI and 57 runs, 13 home runs and 48 stolen bases.
OF — Raoul Fabian, California (San Ramon), Sr.The Long Beach State commit led his team with a .433 average with 11 doubles and 36 runs.
P — Michael Barnett, College Park (Pleasant Hill), Sr.Bound for UCLA, Barnett struck out 90 in 65 innings in earning Diablo Valley League Foothill Pitcher of the Year honors.
P — Blake Rogers, Saint Francis, Sr.The Pitcher of the Year from the stacked West Catholic Athletic League, Rogers went 7-0 with an 0.80 ERA in just over 70 innings. The Baylor commit beat Palo Alto 1-0 fr the Central Coast Section D-I title.
P — Jace Gillmore, Whitney, Jr.Went 11-0 with a 1.55 ERA for a Wildcats team that won a Sac-Joaquin Section baseball championship for the first time, beating McClatchy in the finals.
P — Nolan Stevens, Franklin (Elk Grove), Jr.The Delta League Player of the Year headed to Mississippi State went 9-1 with 86 strikeouts and also drove in 32 runs for the Delta champions.
UTL — Matteo Blandino, Archbishop Mitty (San Jose), Jr.Led the Monarchs with 39 hits and 41 RBI and led the team to the Central Coast Section and CIF Northern California Division II championships.
UTL — Nic Bronzini, California, Sr.Bound for LSU, Bronzini went 9-3 on the mound and struck out 133 and walked just 26.
UTL — Diego Castellanos, Live Oak (Morgan Hill), Jr.MVP of the Blossom Valley League's Mt. Hamilton Division, Castellanos hit .488 with just nine strikeouts.
UTL — Donovan Chriss, De La Salle, Sr.Hit .400 with 19 RBI and starred at shortstop and on the mound, where he had an 0.70 ERA in 30 innings with six saves for the the North Coast Section and CIF NorCal Division I champions.
UTL — Gabe Henderson, McClatchy, Sr.The steady senior batted .427 with 12 doubles and 35 RBI and also went 10-1 on the mound with an 0.60 ERA for a Lions team that reached the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I finals.

INF — Tyler James , Vanden (Fairfield), Sr.Batted .419 with 34 RBI and 33 runs scored for the Monticello Empire League champions who reached the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III finals.
INF — Brandon Forrester, Jesuit (Carmichael), Sr.Steady as he goes, Forrester was the driving force for the longtime Sac-Joaquin Section powers.
INF — Ryder Helfrick, Clayton Valley Charter (Concord), Jr.Headed to Arkansas when he's done being an Ugly Eagle, Helfrick hit .424 with 12 doubles for a league championship squad.
INF — Brett Ott, Granite Bay, Sr.Sacramento State commit was a reliable and inspired influence for a Grizzlies team that won its first Sac-Joaquin Section championship in 21 years.
OF — Jarren Advincula, Archbishop Mitty, Jr.The San Diego State commit led the Monarchs with a .422 average and helped power them to the CIF Northern California Regional Division II championship.
OF — Evan Bilter, Foothill, Sr.In helping his team win its first league championship in 34 years, Biltner led the Falcons with a .439 average and drove in 33 runs.
OF — Wyatt King, Saint Francis, Sr.The Cal Poly commit led his team with 39 RBI and six home runs for a team that reached the CIF Northern California Division I finals.
UTIL — Hayden Hughes, Del Campo (Fair Oaks), Sr.The unsung leader for the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III champions, Hughes batted .329 with 26 RBI and went 9-2 on the mound with a 2.09 ERA in facing stiff competition.
UTIL — Freddy Rodriguez, River City (West Sacramento), Sr.The Cal Poly commit went 4-2 with a 1.42 ERA and 104 strikeouts and batted .435 with 37 RBI for a playoff team.
UTIL — Matt Moses, Del Campo, Jr.The anchor for Del Campo's Sac-Joaquin Section Division III championship team, Moses had 47 hits and went 6-1 on the mound.
UTIL — R.J. Priddy, Pleasant Valley (Chico), Sr.Priddy was the star for the top team in the Northern Section, going 9-1 on the mound with a 1.53 ERA and batting .324 with 14 RBI as an outfielder/shortstop.
UTIL — Alec Nava, De La Salle, Sr.The spirited leadoff man for the Spartans, Nava hit .409, drove in 19 and scored 30 runs in leading them to the North Coast Section Division I and CIF NorCal D-I titles.
P — Braeden Sloan, Woodcreek (Roseville), Sr.Went 7-0 with 76 strikeouts in 40.2 innings and an 0.86 ERA for a Timberwolves team that had a 25-game winning streak.
P — Tyler Gebb, Foothill, Jr.Gebb set a school-record with 14 victories to lead his team to their first East Bay Athletic League crown in 34 years. Had a 1.82 ERA in 84.2 innings.
P — Ethan Lay, Colusa, Sr.The staff ace went 14-0 with an 0.14 ERA with 155 strikeouts in 85.1 innings to help power Colusa to a 33-1 season.
P — Luke Kalfsbeek, Colusa, So.He went 13-0 with 98 strikeouts in 68.1 innings and had an 0.51 ERA for the Northern Section powers that reached a CIF NorCal title game.
P — Gavin McLendon, Whitney, Jr.Went 9-1 with a n0.91 ERA and batted .326 with 18 RBI for the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I champions.
P — Tyler Wood, De La Salle, Sr.Went 8-0 with a 1.94 ERA and beat Saint Francis with a shutout in a regular-season game and then had two innings of one-run ball in relief in the CIF NorCal Division I title game against the same team.
