The Red Raiders tacked on two more scores in the second period as Adams caught a 40-yard TD pass from Croucher and Gabriel Georges punched in a 2-yard score to make it 35-7 before halftime. Both of Adams' catches went for touchdowns as he tallied 110 receiving yards.
Croucher tossed his fourth touchdown pass of the game on Baylor's first play of the third quarter, a 32-yard strike to tight end
Brady Lewis for a 42-7 advantage. Freshman
David Knowles III capped the scoring in the fourth quarter with a short score to make it 49-7 with 7:39 to play.
Baylor's cushion allowed freshman
Marshall Manning to take some second-half snaps. The son of NFL legend Peyton Manning was 3 of 4 for 36 yards for the Red Raiders.
McCallie's lone score came on a 1-yard run from
Xavier Fillion in the second quarter. Fillion finished with 100 rushing yards on 21 carries for the Blue Tornado.
