The league gives prospects who either weren't drafted or elected not to sign with major league organizations out of high school an opportunity to prove to scouts what they can do with wood bats against the best of the best.
Saturday marks the Friendly's Cape League All-Star Game, which features the top 50 players in the 10-team league, selected by the league managers.
