Milwaukee Brewers 6, Cincinnati Reds 0The Brewers bounced back from a loss to the Royals by blanking the Reds. Five Milwaukee pitchers combined to give up just three hits while striking out 10.
Cody Poteet of Christian (El Cajon, Calif.) accounted for half of the strikeout total, fanning five in two innings of work.
Timmy Lopes of Edison (Huntington Beach, Calif.) paced the Milwaukee offense with a pair of RBI singles. C.J. Saylor of South Hills (Covina, Calif.) added a run-scoring double.

Kyle Overstreet of Boaz (Ala.) had a pair of hits for the Nationals and scored Washington's only run.
Oakland Athletics 6, New York Yankees 1The A's raised their Area Code Games record to 2-1 with a 6-1 win in the final game on Monday. Oakland scored all of its runs in the first two innings, including two in the first inning and four in the second.
Zach Green of Jesuit (Carmichael, Calif.) had the game's biggest hit with a two-run double in the first inning. The A's also received RBI singles from

Max Dutto of San Ramon Valley (Danville, Calif.).
Gabe Cramer of Santa Rosa (Calif.) struck out three batters in his two innings on the mound for the A's.
