Live CIF girls basketball scoreboard: First-round regional scores

Due to the pandemic, it's been since 2019 that the California Interscholastic Federation has crowned girls basketball champions. That is about to change.

The CIF announced the pairings of its Northern and Southern California regional championships on Sunday and Tuesday marks the opening rounds of each. The winners in each of six divisions meet to crown state champions March 11-12 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

The 2019 girls champions were Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth) in the Open Division, Rosary Academy (Fullerton) in Division I, Menlo School (Atherton) in Division II, Oakland in Division III, Oakland Tech (Oakland) in Division IV and Caruthers in Division V.
