St. Augustine Prep (Richland, N.J.) used a 48-10 win over Williamstown to jump 12 spots in this week's MaxPreps northeast region football computer rankings.
The Hermits were No. 17 last week, but now they are sitting at No. 5, right behind Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, Pa.).
Possibly the best winless team in the nation, Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) continues to hang around the of the rankings despite an 0-3 record. The Ironmen have lost to American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.), No. 1 St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) and Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati).
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Northeast region includes teams from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
