The Durango Fall Classic crowned a familiar champion Saturday and gave the MaxPreps Top 25 high school volleyball rankings a new No. 1 team.
It's likely the first of three meetings between Mater Dei and Sierra Canyon, who met in the Southern Section championship and Southern California regional final last year. Sierra Canyon won the section final while the Monarchs beat the Trailblazers on their way to an Open Division state championship.
Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, Neb.),
Divine Savior Holy Angels (Milwaukee, Wis.) and
Yorktown (Ind.) are the other schools to join this week's rankings.
