Update: The Lancers won the Boras Baseball Classic with a 3-2 victory over highly touted JSerra Catholic after beating ranked rivals Bellarmine 5-2 and Valley Christian (San Jose) (2-1). Losses to College Park and Los Gatos have Saint Francis here at three.

Update: The Padres had wins of 5-0 over Riordan (San Francisco), 5-0 over Sacred Heart Cathedral (San Francisco) and 6-0 over Menlo.

Update: The Spartans entered the week in first place in the rugged EBAL after wins over California (San Ramon) 3-1 and Granada (Livermore) 18-5. Big showdown looms Saturday against No. 1 College Park.

League: Delta
Update: The Thundering Herd are ranked No. 1 by The Sacramento Bee after big games by
Carlos Moseley and
Ty Madrigal with wins over ranked rivals Franklin and Jesuit. A league title is still within grasp.
8. Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) (4) 23-4Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Sierra Foothill
Update: The Trojans are human, losing twice to Folsom, but still locking up the SFL easily with an otherwise dominant season. Next goal: Section title.

Update: The Wildcats entered the week with eyes on a league title and a section title run behind
Hank LoForte and
Zachary Tresemer. Elk Grove beat Franklin 4-3 on Monday with a rematch Wednesday.

Update: The Wolves lost to ranked Monte Vista 3-1 and beat ranked Livermore 12-4 in a tight race behind ranked De La Salle.

Update: A big week includes games against ranked rivals Valley Christian and Saint Francis before the conference tourney starts.

Update: The Chargers have won five of six, last losing to No. 2 Los Gatos 3-0 after beating Los Gatos 4-3 to keep the league race fun to the end.

Update: The Marauders, rolling for a bit, have cooled entering the week, including two losses to newly ranked Davis. Jesuit can still win the league with the No. 1 seed.

Update: David Rajeski earned the win in a 3-1 effort over San Ramon Valley. The battle for second is fierce in league play.

Update: Troy Burg pitched well to beat Riordan (San Francisco) 2-1 with ranked Serra looming this week.

Update: The league is so tight that losses happen, and it happened to the Cowboys, with setbacks to Granada 2-1 and San Ramon Valley 12-4.

Update: The Blue Devils have in recent days beaten once-ranked Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa) and swept higher ranked Jesuit in two games behind leaders such as
Drew Gnos.

Update: The Giants entered the week a game ahead of Marin Catholic (Kentfield) in league play.
