Sophomore
Hamiley Arenas enrolled Wednesday as reported by Fattal. The MaxPreps Freshman All-American, who transferred from
Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) and hasn't played this season, could become eligible as soon as Feb. 2.
"The plan is to get her eligible to play if she can play," Komaki told Fattel.

Her last game was Feb. 1, 2025 with Notre Dame. CIF rules state a transfer is eligible with a valid change of residence or if the student has not competed in 365 days or more.
Arenas averaged 23.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.8 steals per game as a freshman at Notre Dame.
Fifth-ranked Sierra Canyon is led by MaxPreps All-American
Jerzy Robinson, who recently committed to South Carolina. Oregon commit
Emilia Krstevski and sophomores
Cherri Hatter and
Rosie Oladokun also give the Trailblazers depth as they chase their third Open Division title since 2019.
Sierra Canyon (21-2) has four regular-season games remaining before Southern Section postseason play begins.
Hamiley would be the second of Arenas' daughters to play for Komaki after Kansas State guard
Izela Arenas graduated from the school in 2024.
Alijah Arenas, the Los Angeles City Section's all-time leading scorer, played his prep ball at
Chatsworth (Calif.), graduating in 2025 before heading to USC.
