Wisconsin high school basketball: Playoff brackets released

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) has released the brackets for the 2026 boys basketball playoffs.

Opening round action is Tuesday, March 3. The state tournament will be held March 19-21 at Kohl Center in Madison.

Division 1
Top seeds: D.C. Everest, De Pere, Madison Memorial, Wisconsin Lutheran
No. 2 seeds: Appleton North, Arrowhead, Beloit Memorial, West Allis Central
Defending champion: Wisconsin Lutheran

Division 2
Top seeds: River Falls, Onalaska, Notre Dame Academy, Port Washington, New Berlin West, McFarland, Whitefish Bay, Waterford 
Defending champion: Wauwatosa West

Division 3
Top seeds: St. Croix Central, Altoona, Freedom, Brillion, Mineral Point, Lake Mills, Oostburg, Racine Lutheran
Defending champion: Milwaukee Academy of Science

Divison 4
Top seeds: Colfax, Fall Creek, Marathon, Kewaunee, Darlington, Lomira, Howards Grove, Milwaukee Juneau
Defending champion: Aquinas

Division 5
Top seeds: Turtle Lake, Loyal, Tigerton, Reedsville, Royall, North Crawford, Abundant Life, Oakfield
Defending champion: Cochrane-Fountain City
