Across the country, excellence in high school football isn’t limited to the traditional 11-man game and the MaxPreps computer rankings make that clear.

Gordon (Texas) stands atop the national 6-man landscape, setting the standard with a program defined by speed, precision, and championship consistency. In 8-man football, Seiling (Okla.) has emerged as the nation’s gold standard, blending toughness and efficiency to claim the No. 1 spot. Meanwhile, Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy (Freeman, S.D.) leads the way in 9-man football, showcasing how strong fundamentals and community-driven programs can produce national dominance.
