Kingston Allen and
Teo McPhatter are separated by just 13 yards in the race to become high school football's leading rusher in 2026.
Allen, a senior at
Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, Wis.), holds a slight edge over McPhatter, a junior at
Princeton (N.C.), after six games for each according stats submitted to MaxPreps.
In a 49-0 win Friday over Oshkosh North, Allen – a Wisconsin Badgers commit – ran for 296 yards and six touchdowns to bring his season total to 1,702 yards and 32 scores.
McPhatter, who does most of his damage as a wildcat quarterback, ran for 256 yards and four touchdowns in a 64-0 win over Wake Prep Academy to boost his totals to 1,689 yards rushing and 25 touchdowns.
Allen is averaging 283.7 yards per game in his six contests while McPhatter is at 281.5.
Notre Dame Academy is 6-0 and outscoring opponents 331-81 while Princeton is 3-3 and averaging nearly 50 points per game.
