Joe DeMers tossed his third successive home no-hitter to bury Northgate (Walnut Creek) 11-0. He also had four hits. Demers is 8-0 with an 0.26 ERA.
2. Los Gatos (1) 22-2Section: Central Coast
League: DeAnza
Update: The Wildcats beat Wilcox (Santa Clara) 3-0 and then had their 15-game winning streak halted by the same team, 4-3.
Aiden Finch has 30 RBIs and aces
Jake Holton and
Hunter Bigge are 7-1 and 8-1, respectively.
3. Saint Francis (Mountain View) (3) 18-5Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Update: The Lancers are in first place in the rugged WCAL despite a loss to ranked rival Serra, a team Saint Francis has already downed twice.
Jeremy Ydens has 15 RBIs and 23 runs and
Kyle Basch and
Andrew Carter are each 5-0 on the mound. The week ends against state No. 1 JSerra (San Juan Capistrano) on Saturday in the finals of the Boras Classic.
4. Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) (4) 22-3Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Sierra Foothill
Update: Top-ranked by the Sacramento Bee, the Trojans had a 10-game winning streak halted by Folsom 6-5 but they still are in clear control of the SFL.

Chris Roppolo have had big moments.
5. Valley Christian (San Jose) (10) 19-5Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Update: The Warriors beat ranked rivals Bellarmine 2-1 and Serra 5-4 to keep pace in the WCAL race.
Kyle Marinconz and
Patrick Wicklander have played well. An earlier loss was 5-2 to No. 2 Los Gatos.
6. Serra (San Mateo) (9) 15-7Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Update: The Padres beat ranked rivals Mitty 2-1 and Saint Francis 6-0 before falling to No. 5 Valley Christian 5-4.
Christopher Papapietro has 15 RBIs and 20 runs and John Besse is 5-0.
7. Archbishop Mitty (San Jose) (7) 18-6Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Update: The Monarchs recovered from a 2-1 loss to ranked rival Serra with wins of 3-2 over ranked Bellarmine (3-2) and over Riordan (San Francisco) 8-0 and Sacred Heart Cathedral (San Francisco). An earlier loss was 2-1 to Oak Ridge.
8. Jesuit (Carmichael) (8) 17-6Section: Sac-Joaquin

Update: Ranked second by The Sacramento Bee, the Marauders beat Bee No. 3 Elk Grove and then lost to the same team on Monday 7-1 in a tight league race.

Update: The Wolves have an earlier 4-0 win over top-ranked College Park on a
Joey Matulovich gem, and he was at it again in beating De La Salle 2-1. Earlier, he struck out 14 to beat Amador Valley (Pleasanton) 4-2.

League: East Bay
Update: The Spartans rolled Monte Vista (Danville) 10-0 as
Matt Sanders and
Kevin Sandri combined for six RBIs before a 2-1 loss to No. 8 San Ramon Valley. An earlier loss was by a run to Jesuit with a win over No. 10 Elk Grove.
11. Franklin (Elk Grove) (14) 18-5Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Delta
Update: The Wildcats beat state power Buchanan (Fresno) earlier this season and are in the running for league-title honors even after losing Monday to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove) 7-2. Shortstop
Hank LoForte is one of the state's top players and leaders.
12. Elk Grove (12) 14-8Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Delta
Update: The Thundering Herd split with Jesuit in Delta action and has a mostly underclass pitching rotation. Slugger
Dylan Carlson has pitched and hit well.
13. Livermore (15) 12-4Section: North Coast
League: East Bay
Update: The Cowboys lead the deep EBAL race with wins over California (San Ramon) 14-6 and Foothill (Pleasanton) 5-3 as
Jake Foscalina and
Ryan Ruley played well. The lone league loss was to De La Salle.
14. Wilcox (Santa Clara) (25) 17-8Section: Central Coast
League: De Anza
Update: The Chargers lost to No. 2 Los Gatos 3-0 and then beat the same team 4-3 to keep pace in a tough league.
15. Hillsdale (San Mateo) (22) 22-1Section: Central Coast
League: Peninsula
Update: The Knights have won 19 consecutive games, the longest streak in Northern California.
Riki Urata has 32 runs and
Ro Mahanty is 8-0.
16. Heritage (Brentwood) (17) 15-4Section: North Coast
League: Bay Valley
Update: The Patriots have won seven of eight and remain unbeaten in league play.

Update: The Bells have absorbed every tough loss imaginable but are hanging around in the tough-minded WCAL.

Update: The Rams have an early 5-0 loss to No. 1 College Park and recently won two of three against Lodi and beat ranked rival Lincoln 9-3.

Update: The Trojans are in a league title chase with rival St. Mary's to close out the regular season. An earlier loss was to ranked Jesuit 3-0.

Update: The Vikings are in first place in league play and just beat No. 21 Vintage in nonleague action, 8-3.

Update: The Pumas are suddenly in a tight league race with ranked rivals Casa Grande and Cardinal Newman. MC went 3-1 in the Boras Classic, including 7-1 over Sacramento Bee No. 1 Oak Ridge.

League: Marin County
Update: The winning streak ended at 13 behind aces
Tyler Peck is 6-0 and
Zach Cohen is 5-0. The Giants are still in first place.
