North Crowley features one of the state's deepest collections of recruits led by UCLA commit
Jerry Outhouse, Arizona State commit
Elijajuan Houston and TCU commit
Gabriel Brooks. Four-star junior receiver
Damarion Mays headlines the underclassmen while
Jacob Torres directs an offense featuring running backs
Kiante Ingram and
G'yrell Smith.
Waxahachie is also 5-0 and averaging more than 53 points per game under first-year coach Lawrence Williams. The Indians re-established themselves among the state's elite last season when they beat perennial power Duncanville 28-27 before eventually falling to the Panthers in the Conference 6A Division I quarterfinals.
Expect the scoreboard operators to be busy as the district foes combine to score more than 90 points per game.
