Baylor (Chattanooga, Tenn.) rallied to beat No. 23
Trinity (Louisville, Ky.) 35-27.
The Tennessee commit and reigning MaxPreps National Player of the Year scored four second-half touchdowns on runs of 15, 75, 59 and 16 yards to help Baylor erase a 14-7 halftime deficit, putting the visitors on his back.
Gabriel Georges scored on back-to-back carries toward the end of the third quarter to create separation and a 28-14 lead as Baylor snapped Trinity's 11-game win streak dating back to last season.

Baylor opened the second half and closed the gap to one as Gabriel Georges capped a five-play drive with the 15-yard score. He then had both carries on the Red Raiders' next scoring drive — five yards and then a 75-yard burst — before housing the 59-yard score on the first touch of their next possession.
He added a 16-yard score to give Baylor a 21-point advantage with seven minutes remaining.
But the Shamrocks scored twice late in the fourth quarter to close the gap. Gabriel Georges and Baylor were able to drain enough of the clock to make things tough on Trinity but the Shamrocks did manage stops that led to two last-ditch chances.

After that, the Rocks took control. They answered the opening score with a 7-yard TD pass from
Zane Johnson to
Jason Hagan that finished an eight-play drive that started on the 20.
Following a Baylor three-and-out, Trinity took the 14-7 lead on a time-killing drive that ended with Johnson sneaking into the end zone on fourth-and-goal from the 1. Johnson was 11 of 17 passing for 138 yards in the first half with the TD pass. He had a hand in all four scores for his team with the odd stat line of a rushing touchdown but minus-nine yards rushing after a 10-yard sack on the game's second play.
