MaxPreps national high school football stat stars

Two of the top receiving yardage totals in national history highlight this week's list of National Football Stat Stars.

Marc Lozoya of Alexander (Laredo) set a Texas state record with 454 yards receiving in a 63-36 win over Winn (Eagle Pass, Texas) on Thursday. The mark is also the third-highest single-game total in national history, according to the National Federation of High Schools Record Book.

However, a few days later Nate Drew of Chavez Academy (Detroit, Mich.) topped Lozoya's performance with 459 yards in a 64-41 win over Mayville (Mich.), setting a new national record for receiving yards in a single game.
