Gillette
hit for better average as a junior (.385 to .313) but he has slightly
better power numbers as a senior, with six doubles, one triple and four
home runs compared to 3-1-3 as a junior. He has also scored 41 runs and
driven in 17.
What the scouts like: At 6-foot-3, Gillette is prized for his athletic build and his potential. Showed some power, but he also runs well.
Where he will go: Will go somewhere in the top 10 rounds.
