Ryan could also get drafted as a pitcher as he is 5-1 on the season with 81 strikeouts and a 0.58 ERA in 48 innings pitched. At the plate, Ryan is batting .571 with six home runs and 27 RBIs. He also has walked 33 times.
What the scouts like:
Ryan has become more in shape this season and has increased his velocity on his fastball, making him a potential pitching candidate. He's beginning to hit the mid-90s with his fastball and that could get him drafted somewhere in the third or fourth round. He seems to be headed to North Carolina, however, which could drop him down in the draft if teams feel he will head to college instead.
Where he will go:
Rounds 3 to 5.
