Smith notched her fourth career 50-point game and her second of the season in the win over Mitty. She is sixth nationally in scoring at 33.2 points per game and 17th in assists at 7.4 according to the
MaxPreps leaderboards.
Against Mitty, Smith had 15 points at the half and scored nine in the third and 12 in the fourth quarter, including a pair of free throws that sent the contest to overtime.
In the second extra period, Smith took over. She scored Ontario Christian's final nine points in addition to coming up with several crucial steals that led to easy transition buckets. She finished with six rebounds and four steals while shooting 47 percent from the field.
