Southmoore scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Stillwater Pioneers by a score of 20-19. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (15), the SaberCats still had to take the loss.

Southmoore's defeat dropped their record down to 24-17. As for Stillwater, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Coming up, Southmoore will square off against Cache at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the SaberCats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Stillwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
