League play wraps up this week and next for all teams with the playoffs looming in the Central, Central Coast, North Coast, Northern and Sac-Joaquin sections.

There are no Northern California baseball playoffs as the season would stretch past all high school graduations, though there has been discussion within CIF circles about moving the athletic calendar up to make it work, should member schools ever vote for it.

Notes:
- No. 2 Bellarmine lost two tough games but is still the class of the Central Coast Section. The Bells lost 3-0 to Valley Christian in West Catholic Athletic League play on a three-hitter by Patrick Wicklander, who struck out eight. Belalrmine lost to national power Huntington Beach 4-1 in the finals of the Boras Baseball Classic at UCLA.
- No. 9 Clayton Valley Charter suffered its first loss, falling 5-4 to Northgate (Walnut Creek) before bouncing back with a 1-0 win at Acalanes (Lafayette) behind a three-hitter by James Biles.
- Tanner Cunha tossed a six-inning perfect game with 11 strikeouts to power No. 13 Christian Brothers to a 1-0 win over Rio Americano (Sacramento) and Jacob Tucker struck out nine in a 2-0 win over Rio Americano.
- New No. 18 Amador Valley is riding a nine-game winning streak, including a 3-2 win over De La Salle as Mitch Benson allowed five hits to improve to 6-1.
