El Capitan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avnoor Bains, who scored 15 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Felicity Parker was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
El Capitan's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Rio Americano, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
El Capitan will be home for the holidays to greet East Union at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rio Americano, they will head out on the road to face off against Oakmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
