The Central City Bison will stay at home for another game and welcome the Centennial Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Central City is ranked 93rd, while the Broncos are ranked 105th).
Even though Central City has not done well against the Chanticleers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Central City came out on top against the Chanticleers by a score of 41-30.
Among those leading the charge was Addie Buhlke, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Centennial unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. The match between them and Milford wasn't particularly close, with Centennial falling 37-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Centennial has scored all season.
Central City is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Centennial, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.
