Skinner joins a potent offense that features four-star quarterback
AJ Duffy (Florida State commit), four-star running back
Kaytron Allen (Penn State commit), five-star athlete
Samuel M'Pemba, four-star wide receiver
Carnell Tate, four-star wide receiver
Devin Hyatt, three-star wide receiver
Shawn Miller (Illinois commit) and Class of 2024 standout
Stacy Gage.
A full schedule hasn't yet been released for new head coach Pepper Johnson's bunch, but IMG's docket includes notable games at No. 72 La Salle (Cincinnati) on Sept. 3, vs. No. 38 Northwestern (Miami) on Sept. 10., vs. No. 68 Jones (Orlando) on Sept. 17, vs. No. 69 East St. Louis (Ill.) on Oct. 22, and vs. No. 10 St. Frances Academy (Baltimore) on Nov. 19.
IMG Academy finished 8-0 last season as the No. 1 team in the country, the first in school history, and with the talent its compiling should be on a sort list of teams able to compete for that top spot again.
