South Fork fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Victory Christian Academy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Victory Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 35-32. One positive for the Cubs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

South Fork is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Victory Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Fork won't have much time to rest: their next match is against San Francisco Waldorf at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will square off against Sonoma Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
