Baseball Recap: Clovis North Takes Down Frontier in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Clovis North rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on the Frontier Titans with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Clovis North's fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Frontier, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14-1.

Looking ahead, Clovis North will head out to challenge Bullard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Broncos' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Frontier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
