Palm Beach Central extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Chance Routson. The Broncos came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 29-28 W against the Vanguard Knights thanks in part to Routson, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 178 yards on ten of 17 attempts. Palm Beach Central is undefeated when Routson posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

Despite the loss, Vanguard still got an impressive performance from Terrance Lewis, who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries, and also threw for 62 yards and one touchdown. James Pullings helped out on the ground, rushing for 80 yards.

The victory got Palm Beach Central back to even at 4-4. As for Vanguard, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Palm Beach Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-21 win against Wellington on the 24th. As for Vanguard, they have also already played their next game, a 44-0 victory against Gainesville on the 24th.
