While Eaton put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Fort Lupton. The Reds were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Bluedevils. The Reds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Johanna Galvan made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in August. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Anderson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Brooklynn Minne was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Eaton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Eaton pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Fort Lupton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Eaton will be playing in front of their home fans against University at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Reds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 11.4 runs per game this season. As for Fort Lupton, they will head out on the road to square off against Centaurus at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so the Bluedevils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
