Union Area extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They fell 28-21 to the Mohawk Area Warriors. On the bright side, the 21- point performance marked the Scotties' highest-scoring contest to date.
As for Mohawk Area, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. The victory was some much needed relief for they as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Bobby Fadden was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 117 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Mohawk Area's leading receiver Landyn Argiro was Fadden's top target yet again, picking up 87 receiving yards and one score.
