Eaton's game  on Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They never let the Sterling Tigers get on the board and left with  a   17-0  victory. The result was nothing new for the Reds, who have now won nine games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Johanna Galvan was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Emma Anderson was a standout: she went 1-for-5 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in September of 2024.  Isabella Ramsey was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run.
Eaton's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-2. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sterling,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-8.
 Coming up, Eaton will square off against Forge Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Sterling, they will challenge Weld Central at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
