Laikyn Lanzen posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Lanzen and Brighton will take on Centaurus at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
